Abstract

The Editorial Board of TALA: An Online Journal of History presents its latest issue, featuring another set of works from different history scholars. As we end another fruitful year and welcome another, we hope that our contributors and readers will continue to be our partners in historical research in our pursuit to bring historical knowledge to a broader audience

Author Biography

Aldrine V. Guevarra, University of Santo Tomas


Dr. Aldrine Villacorte Guevarra finished his AB degree major ni Asian Studies in 1999. His thesis focused on the Arab-Israeli Conflict.

Later on, he pursued graduate studies finishing his Master's Degree in History in 2007. Subsequently, in 2015, he earned his Doctorate Degree in History (cum laude). 

He earned all of his degrees from the Royal and Pontifical University of Santo Tomas. 

He is currently teaching at UST Senior High School department where he served as Subject Area Lead teacher for USCP and History in 2016. He also served as SHS Library Coordinator from 2015 to 2016, and 2017 to 2020. At present, Dr. Guevarra is a member of the UST SHS Principal's Council.

Dr. Guevarra specializes in local and oral history, as well as economic and social history.
